wedanced : thanx for the feedback guys. i was trying something a little different from the stuff i was doing at the time (something a bit more slow). looking back now i probably could have stopped the song at 3 mins and 50 seconds with a volume fade. there isnt a real need for that last section.

argent s : i actually think this is a really good song! you should use it on something if you haven't already. at first i was thinking it might be a little too long, but actually now i think it's just right. were you perhaps listening to a lot of early brian eno stuff at the time (like taking tiger mountain and another green world)? i kinda et that feeling . . .

increpare : Section 1: Ah I like the overdrive in this piece; personally, I felt that the arpeggio bits could be quite nice if they faded out a bit instead of just stopping flat BUT feel free to ignore such an opinion :) section 2: Oh wait, it was only a small interlude. I'm not sure how to approach this piece...it's really repetitious in its build up...but...in some ways I feel I sort of respect that about it. The main melody in the second half for me isn't, because of the slightly slow tempo of the piece, very easy to follow and doesn't stand out. I like that though, because it blends well with the drum/bass lines that are by themselves pretty strong.
