Bob's My Uncle [48 Hour Challenge]

http://8bitcollective.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=46672#p46672 My task was to write a reggae/dub tune for chillaxing in the summer. Well, I'm not the biggest master of the reggae genre. Bob Marley is the only notable artist I know of. So don't blame me. :P This was done with LSDj cranking a short chain loop and Muddy GB wailing it solo on the leads. It was actually fun trying to learn a whole song just on a Gameboy. :P Took me whole night to get the notes right. There were some flukes as well, which actually sounded pretty cool, so I kept them. Enjoy! Hope it is reggae enough! Now go and chillax man. :P

argent s : i have to say, it doesn't sound all that much like reggae or dub to me, but it is still a very good track! nice melodies and all (though it would be nice if the drums changed up a bit). definitely very relaxing. i like :)

Scik! : The looseness makes it so much more chill. Other than the drums not changing up at all I'd say mission accomplished. Kudos

Un Canard : Wow. Sounds minimalistic, and yet it doesn't lack anything at all. Great job!

mdos : This is pretty cool, I really like the upbeat chords on the backing track. I've been working on a reggae tune in LSDJ that I really ought to finish up. :P Thanks for the kind words on my tune!
