bleepheartbleep : the intro timing is messed up. might be my imagination but it sounds like the bass drum slips in and out of time. its not that bad though.
im interested what parts of it apart from the intro are chip?

so i don't understand why people are complaining about it not being chiptune.

CCIVORY : this is not chiptune at all :/. there is no solid foundation for the snare but room for it, which gives the song an incomplete feeling. it's like when you hit the -1 and 1 interval an octave up from each other and it sounds ALMOST in tune but it's just trying to form into a chord

CerebralScars : hmm, imo this just sounds like a 'trance' track, not really chiptune,or whatever want to call it. its a bit repetive, you could perhapes work on the structure more.

Sparkyboy : Interesting track. Love how it jumps on you in the begin. What did you use to make it? Didn't know chiptunes could sound so good.
Just one problem though. At first the rave sounds good and in time but at around 1:08/1:09 something changes and the rhythm becomes different or the drums start falling behind or something. The rave melody and beat/kick drum don't match.
Maybe it's like watching a car wheel when driving and it's moving forward and then starts to 'spin' backwards. It's an illusion, cause at around 2:05-2:12 it starts to sound ok again. Dunno... :~
