Reducerad
Some depressing cowbell house (how is that combo even possible?), that was supposed to be on my upcoming 8bp EP, but it doesn't make the cut, so I might as well upload it here... Nice, raw and noisy recording. Game Boy + LSDJ 2008.
Comments
Random : Starscream: It's two different ones, in the same octave, but some notes are overlapping in both chords (but with different timing)... I think... don't remember exactly. I can tell you exactly how it's done tomorrow, when I have energy to look it up :))
JerryJ and alex: Thanks alot!

Starscream|Damon : Two different arpeggios or the same one in different octaves? Still can't get over how good it sounds
at November 5th 2008, 01:56 PM
Random : Starscream: It's two arpeggios, one in each pulse channel, and a short bass note every 16th, then one of the arpeggios drop out, and there's some noise channel drums and a simple pulse wave lead.

Starscream|Damon : I demand (or rather, kindly will ask you) , how the hell did you get such a cool sound for that breakdown? It sounds like wave tables but so much more

Prizmatic Spray : The EP can't come fast enough!

at October 4th 2008, 02:26 AM
Matt Fuzz : it's a good track, but I don't feel the same urge as in your other songs. probably why the song was cut...!
at October 3rd 2008, 11:00 AM
Lib4m : if im not mistaken, as shirobon has also said,

velo : MOAR COWBELL!!!!
I loved this track! Though the ending could use some work. I thought it ended too fast. Other than that, another wonderful hit from Random.

Random : Stevens: Not at all, criticism is highly appreciated! I agree with you (and CCIVORY), its not quite satisfactory enough when the beat kicks in again after the long breakdown... But it would still have been cut ;)
Thanks for all the nice comments!

Stevens : Nice tune man, the melodies are very good and the structure is solid. However I think it could have potentially been really rockin' up there with your other tunes if the last section was really beefed into a big climax, maybe get a bit more active with the noise channel. It seems a bit strange trying to offer constructive criticism to Random :D as the others say for a rejected track this is great.

cy9ez : Awwww this is really good =]

nonfinite : It's so refreshing to hear music on this site that actually... GOES somewhere, melodically speaking.
If this is your refuse, Random, you shit diamonds. Upload more!

at October 1st 2008, 11:10 AM
CCIVORY : i love the choral outbreak :D -- but i think you should give the noise channel a nice sloshing sound right after the choral part

EvilWezil : Great stuff as always. I love how even your rejected tracks are the shit!

Random : Thanks everyone!
Flegmatical: Reducerad as in Reduced :) It's not the cowbell that's depressing haha, it's the house, and the cowbell is in there, panned right in the chorus! :)
at October 1st 2008, 06:05 AM
flegmatical : Reducerad, as in.. hung-over? Sounds pretty professional as always, but... where's the depressing cowbell? Don't leave me hangin bro!11

Starscream|Damon : It's just exactly like this sound I have been trying to achieve forever but have had no luck. Something kind of close in one song but it involved a lot of panning to get the affect. Thanks so much man
