0xFFender : nice. What ur using doesnt matter (Its gotta be 8-bit, tho!) what ur using- be it a VST, A real gameboy, an emulator or even looped samples from real Nintendo games (heck, you can even sample the square waves from someones song, then loop it in ModPlug Tracker!)
Just don't copy more than 0.5 of someones work. Make your own arpeggios thanks!

0xFFender : Sorry to triple-post (!) but I didn;t mean you stole any arps, it OK :D What I meant, was don't sample someones arpeggio in its whole. put some effort in and do it yourself :D. You did. Congrats!
