NES in Reason - Demonstration
This is for a demonstration I did at my school on how to emulate the aesthetic of NES music using Reason. There are certain things left out but I think I covered the basics.
Download Reason File
Song is "Dream 1: Mushroom Forest" from "Little Nemo: Dream Master" for NES.

Disasterpeace : edit: there's actually no DPCM track in this tune, but in the demonstration I added DPCM drums from a Konami game.
at November 6th 2008, 03:11 PM
Disasterpeace : Reason 4, THOR for the pulse waves, NN-19 for the triangle, Redrum for the noise and NN-XT for the DPCM

at November 5th 2008, 04:30 PM
kris : OK...so you need to make a tutorial on how to do this. it sounds dead-on like a NES, and I'd love to achieve this effect on my reason tracks.
