About xMagikoopax

'Magikoopa' is an electronic project and a pseudonym for the artist behind the music, me, Jonas Thuvesson. It all began in the late summer of 2008 when I decided to start experimenting with the chiptune/8bit sound, creating music I like to listen to. I use LSDJ on a GBA or a DMG when I create my music. I've made some stuff in FL studio too. The straight edge thing is just for fun; I'm vegan and straight edge, but I don't intend to get through with some message through this project.

BINARY+STAR : I find the hating on gaming stuff to be unequally stupid. He can like whatever he likes! I notice a lot of that going on around here which is why I have trouble deciding to register or not. It's total bull. e_e Anyway, Mr. straightedge Koopa, you work very nice digital magic. =3 If Lord Bowser gets his hands on that spellbook, though...Hide it! 10/10 + love.

xMagikoopax : To "Starscream | Damon": The X's in the performer name is there because I'm straight edge (look it up on wikipedia). And the Magikoopa thing... "Magikoopas are an elite arm of the Koopa forces, trained in the use of black magic and armed with powerful wands that fire lethal magical projectiles." How do you think I make my music? Through a Gameboy?! No, no, no. I use my wand of course! To both "Starscream | Damon" and "IAYD": As for the song title... I got it from when you load the song in LSDJ, and then press the start button to play it. And I applied that name to this particular song because I think the song builds up kinda nice, making a slow start so to say, and then eventually going into the main part (as if getting out of bed, slowly awaking, after a long night's sleep; the loading process). That's my explanation.

IAYD : I was skeptical of the song because of the title, but I was eventually won over. The high melodies were nice and the noise at the beginning was clever.

pokemon posers : i acually like this alot. though near the end with all those high notes, and fast pitch bends its sounds like nanoloop. the melody will probably be stuck in my head fer days now :D
