skoshu : cheers glomag! i didn't do anything to the recording iirc (except limiting). some sections have two low square waves battling each other, maybe that's part of the muddiness you're talking about? or do you hear it all the way through? Maybe it's got to do with the mp3 encoding, looks like the very high end is completely missing in winamp, compared to the wav. On a similar note, ever recognised how easy it is to differentiate between mp3 and wav with chiptunes? My ears usually suck at that, but chiptunes always sound so different in mp3 format. It's probably because of all those harmonics.

brad : well, this is just fantastic, i really enjoy the heavy distorted stuff about 39 seconds in. also, i like the beginning riff alot. basically, amazing job.
