I started to do chiptune around 1994 on my dear Amiga 500 with Soundtracker 1.0, and now I'm still working on www.chiptune.com since 1999 :) My only one regret with chiptune is I don't have any links with the "new" chiptune scene since all my chiptune roots are with the oldschool branch...
