koveah : thanks! well yeah it's like three instances of a sid-vst. and i later found out that it's pretty much set up for überhifi as default ^^ i basically own no real hardware of this sort atm, unfortionately :C i'm working on it though.

cTrix : Nice and ambient. Chill as you say. What other progs did you use along side the C64? It's way over the poly limit to be a SID chip alone! Lots of additional effects too... You should have a go (just for fun) at creating a SID with the real hardware limitations ;-) Then you'll start to find your sound!!!
