argent s is a project that I - Sebastien Argent, fourteen years old - do, making synthpop and 8bit inspired tunes. It started in 2005 and is based in San Francisco, California. I generally use garageband, but I am incorporating a classic gameboy with nanoloop & lsdj, casio vl-tone and mt-30, and a yamaha cs-5 analog synthesizer.

argent s : it sounds nice (i love the smiths!!) but i have to agree that it is a little hard to hear the music with the vocals at the level they are at, though i do have to say as well that i like your voice a lot. and i think that joe's idea is amazing! there is someone on here already who did a few smiths covers, but i can't remember who . . .

argent s : i hesitate to say it, but this might even be better than the original (i'm not the hugest pixies fan but i like this one a lot). it's not quite as heavy as the original, which i kinda like

Note! : I've got the CS-30L and I can attest to the fact that the CS series is awesome. I would love to pick up this little guy to go with my monster : )

argent s : kraze: if you can afford it you should snap up that cs-15 quick. even this is a good synth but a 15 would be even better. like i said, pretty versatile for such an old thing. and nice looking too!

argent s : for the bottom font, i just searched "art deco fonts free" or something like that on google and it came up pretty quickly. the only problem is that you cant really see the fine lines on it at this size, let alone a smaller size.

kraze : Sweet. There's a cs-15 at a local shop I have my eyes on, it's pretty overpriced but i'm sure i'm going to end up buying it anyways.

wedanced : i hate the top font.
you should use the same font for both your name and title. the roughness of your top font doesnt match the star next to it. its an easy clean up. you should do it. the bottom font is beautiful though. where did you get it?

neil_voss : Congrats!... that is a one of the tighter, cleaner analogs of the era. The HPF/BPF are particularly useful to slice through a mix with menacing tears. I've had ahold of one of these for quite some time - you can hear it featured gratuitously on the N64 'New Tetris' soundtrack, including as the acid synth riffs in the title track.
