Collateral Koopa : i am thoroughly impressed with this song. very good structure and a nice melody with refreshing breaks. since you're working in garageband, i would bump the eq on this song towards the bass end, for more of a well-needed thump.

Collateral Koopa : i'd tie up the loose notes if i were you. off key notes are enough to put a sour taste in anyone's mouth. the leads are very nice though.
what this song is really lacking though is some nice percussion. whatever you're using, id reccommend adding a nice bit of heavy, marching, 3/4 noise. this song has the bones, and isnt bad for a draft, but add some really dynamic percussion and emphasize that ending part as the main theme of the song and you'll have an amazing waltz. :D

Collateral Koopa : the tempo changes gave this song the illusion of variation, but no real dynamic progression. good try though. i liked the "breakdown" a little more than half way through. good effort.
try moving on to a different key in the song. better yet, move the key with the tempo. *like when it speeds up, change the key up a fifth*
and try variations on the leads, it really makes a difference. it might look like a lot of work, but it's really worth it in the end.

Asterion : This is the second song I've listened to in the last 10 minutes that uses Kefka's laugh. Not a bad thing – it really makes me want to crack out FFVI Advance – nice work!
