B00daW : pretty decent, but perhaps the portamento up could have been an arpeggio. *shrug* no real gripes though.

B00daW : Very cool! Come see us at #botb on EsperNet for some NSF OHCs sometime! It reminds me of early Kemco works. :)

B00daW : I'm generally a huge fan of experimental, but this song in fact induced my sick dog's vomit and forced me to clean it up. :(

B00daW : i like what you have going on, but it seems like you're not only having ripping issues but encoding issues. do you have a slow machine or are you letting a lot of applications run? you might also want to check into VBR using winLAME.

Dielectric : Amazing dronage. Nostalgic Drums (Shadowrun). The fear it brings into other chiptunes eyes. Feel its ultimate force.

chunter : good sid work, especially since a majority of the bass/melodics appears to have been done on one channel so you could get that phase sound on the noise.

B00daW : This is my second serious attempt with SID. Using GoatTracker and a 8580 SID. Recorded from XMPlay's SID plug-in, based on libsidplay. No extra effects used other than normalizing.
I'm not fully satisfied with this, but wasn't going to work on it anymore.

B00daW : we stole all of them really quickly from 2a03.free.fr. not all of them are clean and a lot of them have wonky delta channel position settings. frankly there is no resource for clean dpcm samples. as for how to make them clean -- which is unrelated to this track -- make sure you sample things with little to no background noise, meaning a clean single track that wasn't paired or rendered with little to no background noise. it would be sampled down to 1bit and a great deal of the cracking with that resolution of sound would severely decrease quality unless there wasn't much breakage and radical changes in the waveforms.
