DMG back panel differences
One's Made in Japan, one's Made in China, and the back panel is completely different than the first. Doesn't make sense to me. Maybe one of you guys has the answer. D:

lemoned : I wonder if like...gundam model paint would work on it--that stuff is made to be put on plastic.

Mr. Zongrs : go for it. would be kinda cool.

lemoned : Maybe I should paint some yellow stars onto it, rofl.
Might actually look really cool.

rememberthe8bit : "Don't hanle live"? Do you mean that they run slower or something? My DMG seems to be barely able to read a keyboard in any mode...
at April 11th 2008, 04:39 PM
lemoned : Really? That's interesting. I'll be able to try it for myself when I actually obtain a copy, haha.
And yeah, I'll need to get that nintendo screw-driver to adjust the pad--WE'LL SEE.

Jump! Press Start : i find the greyboys don't handle live LSDJ as well as the colour ones, and the colour ones I have aren't as good as my see through DMG. I guess that's just down to the individual gameboy.??

gnarwhalunderground : yeah that's graphite. you should see if it makes contact though, you dont want to make a mess in you dmg. let me know if that works.

lemoned : Hey, thanks for the help you guys. I made a thread on this, but no one seemed to know what was up.
I thought the specs were the same, since it pretty much operated like the gray DMG (aka great.)
Only difference I find is that the buttons kind of stick and are flimsy on my red DMG. Someone told me about a fix with pencil lead, though, I'll have to try that.

gnarwhalunderground : the grey dmg is the original dmg-01 think is made under the tuv factory, the red on is part of the color cases series which is contracted under a different factory. or something like that. i remember reading about something like that but i dont remember the details i just know they both have the same specs.
at April 10th 2008, 10:21 PM
Mr. Zongrs : i compared my grey and green dmg, and its the same as what you got there. either we both got screwed over or its nrmal.

lemoned : Me either, hahah.
